RITUALS for Public Spaces

ARé cultural foundation print
Share

A site-specific performance, using specially designed costumes, hats, masks and sound for each site. The intention is to get to know and cooperate with the people and artists of the neighbourhood and to direct a multidisciplinary performance, which is a celebration that honours the place and its people. This performance involves theatre, dance, sound design and video art, making people think and see the public space that belongs to them in a different, more poetic way. Creating acts-rituals in public spaces is an essential artistic declaration that brings back the role of artists as Shamans!
